You can now use Google Maps voice navigation in Pakistan using the Google Maps app (Commonly known as Maps in Android).

Voice Navigation offers you turn-by-turn guide, traffic conditions and a better route if available. Currently Google Maps voice navigation is in beta stage.

How to use Google Maps voice navigation

  1. Open Google Maps app

  2. Search your desired location and tap route button

  3. Choose starting point and tap START NAVIGATION
    Start Navigation

  4. A warning will be shown must read it and tap ACCEPT
    Tap Accept

  5. Voila! You are good to go

Trun by turn voice navigation started

To save power (battery) you will be asked for dimming you screen between turns. Tap the dim screen between turns to conserve power

Its a very welcoming update ... because of the turn by turn navigation i would go on using Waze & Sygic .. but since the beta update .. Google maps is doing good...
Sygic altough has an interesting feature that we could see other drivers on the road and they update road incidents .. Was wondering how Google Maps show traffic blocks etc when there is no update system or there is ?
and i do think they need to add a feature that the navigation path once crossed by us should turn grey or fade away...

Its time to uninstall Sygic and Waze
